Oh the pain! Roebear and his wife eating a big steak dinner at General Sutter's on old Frankie's hard earned money.Is there no justice or rationality? GW with the deep rigs---PTEN with rigs no bigger than shovels and I lose. So much for reading Explorer magazine. The only salvation is that I knew from the outset Roebear was smarter than me so I bought 500 shares of PTEN as a hedge. Just sold at 36. So Roebear order anything on the menu. I heard their grilled cheese and tomato soup are especially fine--Frank

Hi Roebear. I looked over your TESOF charts. I would say that the stock is in the make or break stage and it hasn't confirmed which way it's going to end up. My initial reaction is that the stock will be headed higher in the short term and will either form a double top or breakout. If you wish to be conservative, you might consider taking some $ off the table if it fails to reach a new 52 week high during this leg up. The weekly chart tells the story. I think you can line up the support trend line. You might consider using a break below this line as in indicator of weakness ( the lows from dec99, apr00, dec00). The latest rebound from Dec00 should give you encouragement to hang onto your long position for now, especially if the fundies are saying hang on!! mh
