Firstly, Canaccord isn't even in the top ten investment dealers for Canada. (they're the largest 'independant' dealer, meaning not owned by a bank or larger financial institution) Secondly, they have made a switch a few years ago into more of the technology areas of focus, it has drastically been improved since the late 80's/early 90's. As for the comments about the VSE, it doesn't exist anymore. The four smaller Canadian exchanges merged to form the CDNX or Canada's version of Nasdaq.
