We already know that as corporations grow larger, they influence policy decisions. Is the ultimate endgame of capitalism the control of the world by 7 or 8 global corporations?

Mark: Fine read! The fact that productivity ALWAYS declines at the end of an expansion has been downplayed to the point of invisibility in the popular media. As Roach says, "With layoffs now mounting and capital spending in serious retreat, the cyclical lessons of the past ring painfully true today."
