Intel will launch its first 1GHz mobile processor next March, less than a month after releasing a 700MHz "low voltage" PIII, the follow-up to this week's "ultra-low voltage" 500MHz PIII.

Any ideas on the power consumption of this one? Since they don't have a .13 process yet, how on earth can Intel get a .18 micron 1GHz P3 to run at laptop power when they can't produce one for desktops that runs at 1.13? Is this a radical new P3 core or another paper launch?
