I agree the West Coast offense isn't the Holy Grail that people make it out to be. I think it is just another system, which works when executed properly and with good talent, &#224 la San Francisco, and sucks when done incorrectly. I never thought Green Bay's offense was particularly brilliant when Holmgren was there. I thought he relied on Favre's free-lancing ability too much. The Niners didn't rely on Young's free-lancing nearly as much.
