I was thinking about the DCX situation. It's possible that cultural clashes may make global corps difficult and unstable. Cultural clashes are probably the most significant factor in the failure of mergers to realized envisioned results.

So I tend to think probabilites argue against corps rising to enough power to rule the world under the current state of affairs.
