Registry ... A while back, on this thread, people were discussing some Registry maintenance. One practice stood out as being simple and not requiring tools beyond what comes with Windows: Export the Registry to a .REG file, erase the Registry, then Import that same .REG file. This work takes about a half hour and leaves the registry clean and organized. It requires more courage than skill. Cheers, PW. P.S. The timid among us would RENAME the Registry instead of Delete it.
