Hello Bill.

It's about time that the US tries to be less dependent on foreign oil. I never did understand why we would put ourselves at the mercy of foreign oil.

I know it's environmentally less challenging to let other countries worry about their environment instead of ours but like this article shows: There are more ways to go after energy.besides oil. And there are better ways now to get oil without ruining the environment. Something has to be done so the rest of the country does not follow into the footsteps of CA. I guess we'll see how all this ends up. Good start for trying anyway.

I was hoping for a 75 basis point rate cut knowing that Wallstreet is hard to please lately. And the article I put on yesterday was not too encouraging also. But then we did know most of that already, didn't we? Let's hope for a soft landing if we have to land at all. Too bad the FED overdid the rate hikes last year.
