I certainly don't agree with CB downgrade. Not the first time the have been wrong. This weakness is a real good op for getting it quite cheap. Would watch for the initial knee-jerk, panic sell to gain entry.

On January 17th, Merrill Lynch noted that NTAP continues to receive solid revenues from customers as spending in the sector remains quite healthy. The company is scheduled to release earnings on February 8th, after the closing bell. Estimates are for a profit of $0.10. NTAP has met or beaten the consensus in each of its last 10 quarters.

Current recommendations: ten "strong buys", eleven "buys" and one "hold". A.G. Edwards has a "buy" rating on the issue and considers NTAP as one of the five "horsemen" of storage, along with EMC, BRCD, EMLX and VRTS.
