Hi Ken - I don't think so... If you recall, INTC chip actually has the potential to track user also. Due to the uproar, the feature is software disabled. DCLK did the stupid thing by hiding its tracking until it was caught redhanded. NT did the smart thing, even if it didn't volunteer <g> the information when it unveiled the product group by acknowledging the potentials. This is a win at the PR front, IMHO.

More important, NT case is very different from INTC and DCLK respective situations. NT primary focus is bandwidth on demand. While I am not a techie, conceivably, software trigger from users, much like satellite TV activation, can make request to service providers to turn up the juice. I think this [bandwidth on demand] will be a highly desirable feature for the service providers as well as users alike
