Well stated TG! Many people do not realize the present economic model of the Internet is flawed. By that, I mean that millions of people paying $20 per month for unlimited access to the internet will not generate the profits necessary to build out the infrastructure. It is necessary for the carriers and ISPs to deploy unique and differentiated services for which they can charge a premium. AOL is a good example. I think they have about 16 million customers but they still do not generate the amount of revenue they need to expand the network. That is why the merger with Time-Warner was a good one for them - so they can charge extra fees for the delivery of content.
