Hi Scott,

I don't quite get it. If opening price is all that is needed, why the wait till the close? Since the 'after the close' rule didn't make any sense in conjunction with the use of the opening price I kind of forgot about it and created my portfolio before the close. Does this disqualify me?

Also, how is the winner determined? Is it going to be the average percentage gain for all 5 stocks or the total percentage gain of the entire portfolio? If it's the latter, then the contest is flawed since one can de-emphasize certain stocks by picking really low priced ones.
