i thought i "talked you into" selling athm when it was in the stratosphere? and where is csco now versus then? i have no clue. i think csco is still overvalued by substantial.

but, in either case, i'm sorry if i ever gave you any advice, good or bad. pure advice is so contingent on what one's financial situation is as well as style, tolerance of risk, goals, etc.

saying all that, i don't see the connection between what you are saying. what my comment today is trying to say to people "if you see xyz going on, then act on xyz." i am trying to say "don't be wedded to a certain outcome if you see the evidence pointing in another direction."

what i recall about our conversations was that you came in asking a bunch of questions about how valuation worked, about how options worked, etc.

if i argued that csco was too high, i hope i never made the argument shaped like this: "sell csco because it is going higher and therefor we should still sell csco and we are doomed."
