Who was it that said "the rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated"? Same goes for the telcos and cable companies.

And don't forget about international business....we are talking serious growth in these markets.

Fred E,

I see proposed sales but no sales as of yet. As you know the exec's have to file to sell and this is quite often the time of the year (pre-tax season) to propose sales. Do you know if they have to sell? I'm not clear on this.

Telco's broke? R U sure? CLEC's are hurting - true but I don't think they're big consumers of optics. Cable industry is solid..... I don't see where there is any issues here. VOD? Do you mean Voice over data? A hoax? Pull your head up out of the kool-aide... what thread have you been frequenting? Please don't make me go pull up press releases....

Of course the internet is already moving at blinding speed. That full motion video stream you get on your desktop is already broadcast quality.. and of course we all have interactive TV at home. FredE - there is a long long way to go. AMCC might be a short but don't bet that we have all the bandwidth we need and that the infrastructure players are failing. Remember - lower interest rates me lower debt and more cash flow to purchase capital.
