JQP, Perhaps you can enlighten some of us born again christians on why Slider is to be compared to us. The one thing I know is that a true christian desires to glorify God and He alone. Frankly, all this self-glorification by some of you is the exact opposite of what a christian should stand for. So, please refrain from comparisons that you are not cognizant of. Slider's language alone along with his numerous innuendo's would be a disgrace in any "believer's" language.

JQ Good choice to end the feud. It has gotten way beyond ridiculous. Far more important question is whats wrong with the IGNORE feature? One post at a time is fine but if you use next ten, only the ignored posts at the beginning of the ten are actually ignored. The rest are painfully visible, including the latest two thousand word diatribe to you from the excitable boy. John

CONSIDER IT A WWF TAG TEAM. So far it's just the two of them, even though there is some movement to include Big Bull, but he is not buying in yet. They go by the name "rightous keepers of the truth, or whatever we can get away with, and protectors of very pompous behaviors." It's a long name but shorter ones just wouldn't do them justice. You, on the other hand, don't need a long name since you are just a regular guy and can use your real name, JQP. You are destined to lose unless you have as great or a greater need to be right than they do. If that is the case you may win, sort of, if you can call that winning. For what it's worth, I would be careful on E+P"s unless you have some company specific information that makes one a sleeper. They may do great, but I can't see that they have any better upside than the drillers and I can see that they have a greater downside. I would get into drillers and select os stocks and I would not be entering techs right now even though they may well run up more. I'm selling today in techs and wish I had sold yesterday. There is bound to be some dead space in techs soon and when that happens there is nothing that will keep them up through the next earnigs warning season that I am aware of, not even a rate cut in march. Unless you intend to hold for days or at most weeks, I expect there will be better entry points coming in tech. I'm betting that the osx does better over the intermediate term. If I'm wrong, it won't be because of fundamentals but rather because of all that baby boomer retirement money coming into the hands of institutional investors that have to put it somewhere. When the demand for stocks gets too far past the fundamentals, that scares me. good luck. Ed
