Press Release
Floran International, Inc. Announces a Strategic Alliance with Water Solutions Unlimited
SPRINGFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2001--Floran International, Inc. (OTCBB:FLON - news) has entered into an agreement with Water Solutions Unlimited (WSU) of Franklin, Indiana for WSU to represent and distribute Floran's new NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approved technology for cleaning and disinfecting water storage and distribution systems to their existing and new clients. WSU is a full service, solution oriented, water management company with a proven track record in the industry and currently serves 425 municipal clients in a six state region including, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. The agreement offers Floran International, Inc. greater and more immediate market exposure and serves as a vehicle to create the awareness among municipal water suppliers of the new, cost effective technological advances available to them. It also compliments Floran's growing list of municipal contracts developed over the last year since receiving NSF certification.

Nick Stanley, WSU President and CEO says, ``The complete line of Floran's proprietary products represents a tremendous opportunity for Water Solutions Unlimited and our clients. The effectiveness of this technology in improving chlorine residuals and removing biofilm complements our complete line of products and services that alleviate water quality problems in municipal water systems.''

Based upon information provided in the Community Water System Survey published by the United States EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water, there are more than 54 billion gallons of water stored in above ground water towers and below ground water storage reservoirs.

Floran International, Inc. believes that the Floran products treatment process should capture a significant portion of the market for cleaning water systems and storage in the USA over the next five (5) years. This will be accomplished by developing strategic alliances with product and service providers, such as WSU.

Based upon the experience of Floran Technologies, the manufacturer of Floran products, the contract revenue to clean storage tanks is approximately $10 per thousand gallons. Floran International, Inc. is currently marketing Floran products in the United States with the Licensed distribution of the Floran products in 21 countries outside the United States. The company estimates that the market for cleaning water filter beds is at least as large as that for cleaning storage tanks.

H20 International, Inc., is a marketer and distributor of Floran products/technologies. For more information, visit the company's web site at www.floraninternational.com.
