that missive is the real Riot Act for NTAP.... isn't it -ng-

I actually think they are a bit too negative on NTAP, witness the stock holding up well today on a down
day across the board for equities.

However, I do believe that there will be a convergence of NAS and SAN's. That briefing analysis is assuming that
EMC will conduct a very intensive price war with NTAP and that is an assumption, not a given at this point.
And NTAP can also roll out additional next generation technology.

The one problem with these big bull markets is that they make ridiculous amounts of capital available, so
that at the end of the day you can get a number of very good tech companies trying to capture each technology
niche.

Then a prolonged period of price competion, cannibalistic sales practices, and attrition of competitors occurs to
clear the excess Investment and capacity. That's what they teach in the books anyway -g-
