<its more than political survival he was fighting for....it was his marriage.>

Personally, I think his "marriage" is nothing more than a political act, which is why his "marriage" is so intricately tied to his political survival. But that's just my uninformed opinion.

Tenchusatsu,

Scary as it may seem.....I don't think its a sham but rather another chapter in the dysfunctional American family.

Aside from the history of his growing up, one of the things that has convinced me that he has some serious issues to deal with is when he was in Africa a couple of years ago. He was in a crowd with the president of Kenya [?]and his secret service guys. The mob was not unruly but they were very eager to see him and their president. The look of terror in his eyes was disturbing. I thought he would lose it....and I think he came close. Now, this is a person who has been exposed to crowds for years. His reaction did not seem right for the situation. Just an observation FWIW.
