long -- When you look hard enough for something -- a truck coming at you from a great distance for example -- you can stare and stare until you can no longer tell if it is really moving towards you -- and then the moment arrives and, even though you have been waiting all this time and even though you always thought the time would come, when the truck actually arrives, you find yourself staring into the grill and thinking and wondering and in the second before the truck hits you ask yourself "could this really be the truck"?
