Dennis, I love investing. Trading not as much. Basically, my trading has been a reaction to my favorite tools, options and futures. I think they offer the best value in the world at the lowest risk, and the negative is that they have set dates when you'd better call somebody. If you haven't done it sooner. <G> My third favorite tool is closed end funds and I tend to hold them a long time as they rarely set the world on fire. An exception would be my HQH and HQL forays, as those are pretty volatile critters. But even they made it to long term gains. And something like the ROY- closed end fund preferred will probably be in my portfolio for a long, long time. It is just not a volatile issue. It is a steady payer and I like that for some portion. And remember, I've had Medtronic in some amount or another since just after it went public. But, in reality, buy and hold is not my favorite move. I guess I just don't trust co. mgts. enough to let them have my money for too long. <g>
