Earnings Warnings National Semiconductor (NSM) warned they would miss third quarter EPS estimates. The company stated they would post EPS in the range of .20-.22 per share. That is considerably lower than the consensus EPS estimates of .31 per share. Regal-Beloit $18.350 $0.550 Whisper Discussion Regal-Beloit (RBC) warned they would miss first quarter EPS estimates. The consensus EPS estimate is .34 per share. The company stated they would fall short of that, posting .28-.32 per share. Lear Corp $28.600 ($0.490) Article Whisper Discussion Lear Corp (LEA) warned they would miss first quarter EPS estimates. The consensus estimates are .34 per share. The company warned they would miss that, posting in the .28-.32 per share range. Spings Industries $35.180 ($0.200) Article Whisper Discussion Springs Industries (SMI) announced they would miss first quarter EPS estimates. Consensus is .94 per share. The company stated they would post in the .75-.80 per share range, significantly missing estimates. The company stated they would post in the .90-$1.00 per share range. Blyth Industries $23.480 ($2.330) Article Whisper Discussion Blyth Industries (BTH)warned they would not meet fourth quarter EPS estimates. The current consensus estimates are .57 per share. The company cut that my more than half, stating they would post .21-.26 per share. CacheFlow $15 3/4 ($2.250) Article Whisper Discussion CacheFlow (CFLO) warned they would miss revenue estimates for the third quarter. The consensus estimates are $43.88 million, the company is expecting to post revenues of $20-21 million. Consensus EPS estimatates are a loss of .06 per share.
