Yup, Jay, on the other hand this is a great time to be taking some risks and make some money. Given the Dotcom blowup, California darkness, and Detroit doom, the Fed has certainly indicated (rate drop, followed by still more rate drops, totaling maybe another 150 pts) that they will stop at nothing to reflate the stock market for the good of the economy, and the administration has indicated same (tax drop, increased infrastructure and defense spending).

The party will be good, and for those not leveraged and those who escaped clean from the last party, it will be better. Exit party after the 100 pts cut coming up.

How can we change this Thread's heading, and what should we change it to?

Hmmm, what happens when boomers begin to draw their pensions at the same time as pension funds take a hit and inflows slow down. That piece of the puzzle must fit in somewhere between now and Nasdung 10,000 -g-
