Downsouth,

I am shocked to see the words "sell" and "Ntap" in a Downsouth post.

I wouldn't think price would have anything to do with it...do you think the fundamentals have changed here?

Thanks.

KY

I read the notes from ML conference (Post # 6023 - thanks TD) and assume the conference was recent, but when? Reason I ask is that company is now in quiet period and must have been for a week or two.

Typical for negative comments to come out when a company can not respond. And with the new rules, no one else is in a position to either.

On the upside, per ML meeting notes, DW sounds very positive.
On the downside, with the dot-com market collapsing, NTAP needs to moving into the enterprise market.
Up - with slowing economy, companies need to be finding lower cost solutions.
Down - It takes a while to convince the larger companies to switch vendors.
etc., etc.

Disclosure - I sold half my NTAP many, many months ago and it has sold well above and somewhat below.

It is below right now and I am tempted - but hesitant - to bring my position back up. Waiting for the call and forward guidance may mean paying more, but it does protect on the downside.
