And I think that it is true. The votors are the people who voted. If other people with different opinions want to effect elections then they should vote. I may to say a minority of the people...nonetheless, you point is well taken. As I said, he wants to go backwards...and I for one ain't going. Political changes are not linear through time. Liberalism is not forward and conservative ideas are not backward. You could discribe what he wants to do as negative, but it is not going backwards. He is not picking some point in the past and trying to make all federal laws and programs just like that moment in the past. He has ideas for change that he wants to put in place some of which have not been implemented by the federal government before. You can say he is going in the wrong direction if you want, but forward and backward are pretty meaningless in the context of all of the president's plans. On some specific issues he might want to change them to a state that they were in the past but not everything that existed in the past was bad. Probably this will be a period of consolidation but frankly I would prefer going forward some more. OT..Just got off the CC for IONN, a net security/software company and a $40 stock last year, that I had the unfortunate bad luck of buying at $24 without putting in a stop loss. Consequently rode it down to $.50...don't ask why I didn't get out sooner. In any case the stock started to rally in January and now is up to $2. The board fired mgmt in Oct. and the new guy did the CC in November. The CC was awful....I didn't think they would make it thru the quarter....he was extremely negative. There was an echo when he spoke <g>....it sounded like there were no full time employees...really scary. This CC, its the same guy but he is very positive. They just landed contracts with SBC Com and ORCL. Revs were up 23% sequentially at $3.4 million. New software programs under development and in the pipeline....says the company is turning, albeit not as fast as he would like. This guy is no BS'er, if it were still bad, he would say it. I can't believe I am typing this but at $2 I am buying more. Obviously, the market for their software is growing and if ORCL and SBC Com. like their product, it has to be fairly good. Put it on your radar and do some DD. Could be an buying opp...I suspect at least an easy double. ted
