The very fact that there is so much conflict over morals, and that there is no agreement culture to culture, etc-tends to prove there is no absolute morality- If it were clear we wouldn't be arguing.

The proof of a lack of moral absolutes is empirical. There are societies that consider eating pork immoral. There are societies where revenge killing is okay, provided the shaman "blesses" it. There have been societies where it is okay, even expected, that you will be "gay" sometimes and act accordingly. There are societies where extramarital sex is encouraged. There are places where it okay to marry a child. The world is full of examples of moral relativism. Anyone who doesn't see this just hasn't been looking very carefully. For hundreds of years people believe one thing or another, with or without rational bases and continue to do so until some other agent or agency makes them stop.
