It has to be the average of each stock's individual %% gain. Otherwise they'd have told us to buy not 100 shares, but say $10,000 each of 5 different stocks. THAT would have made it equalize.

If it was based on dollar gain, what if you bought 100 BRK.A shares @ $68,200 each?
