DrM, One other thing to consider is that the large layoffs that are scheduled mean less need for PC boxes. When Wards bankrupts 230+ stores and 30M people, there is a lot of PC equipment put on the market. Also, the people working there no longer need to have their computers upgraded, etc. Multiply that times all the people with pink slips and it probably amounts to something. Therefore, DELL should feel the pinch. On the other hand, ATT and WCOM benefit from falling rates and start to ramp up some of their projects that were put on ice (like pushing ATHM subs, etc). Therefore, it seems, AMCC and the optic plays need more business from AMAT.
