We'll see what happens. We have no other choice right now.

The Catholic religion is in no way as intolerant as the Pentacostals. I was a Catholic for most of my life and have returned back to that faith after finding the Fundamentalists way too harsh and judgmental of others. I also find them among the most materialistic people I have ever met. They convinced my 15 year old son that religion is only about money. Like I said in an earlier post," I think these people will only drive others away from religion."

I dun heared that he will make the sick breathe, the lame walk and cure homosexuality. I have a problem with that, but it is personal. I think he should only cure les-bean-ism. We should should all have lotsa beans.

Some folks think his job is moral leader. Fact is that til Janet Reno burnin folks and shootin women we never really knew the attorney general. Now that Bill shined the everlasting light and pardoned anyone that slept in a coffin filled with east european dirt, we have direction.

Stamp out Homosapiens!!!

Thanks for a very "nail on the head" post, Little Joe. IMO, there is a VERY big difference in "religion," and "man-made religion"....

That said, it is interesting that on one hand the liberals want religion out of politics/government, and yet it is they who constantly bring it up. Odd...isn't it.

While Mr. Ashcroft's faith certainly isn't mine, nor is that of the Kennedy's.....(and I am old enough to have remembered some of the "fears" about whether or not the Pope would run the country).... I think that if there were ANYTHING of an unethical or illegal nature in Mr. A's background, we ALL would have heard about it in the last few weeks.

Mr. Ted Kennedy has given us one set of standards. So has Mr. Clinton. It is only fitting that we give Mr. Ashcroft his time.
