Part of a conversation with Roix this afternoon went to the subject of attempting to clarify this part of his compensation. This excerpt from one of my previous posts, when explained to Roix, got an agreement from him. FWIW, a number I heard before, that was based on one week's production for one of the clubs, yielded a net net margin of approx 21%.
----------------------------
If the net per program margin is 25% (a guess for ease of calculation purposes and not based on known reality but admissions of a desired 20% margin), then based on Roix's bonus percentages being tied to this factor the net net margin results would be:

(i) 9% of Affinity's net collections on sales of mini-vacation packages: 25% less (25% x 9% = 2.25%) = 22.75%

(ii) 8.1% of the net amount paid to independent brokers on sales of membership vacation packages and of products and services to members of certain buyers' clubs: 25% - (25% x 8.1% = 2.025) = 22.075%

(iii) 17.388% of Affinity's net collections on all sales of Affinity's programs with department stores and discount stores: 25% - (25% x 17.388% = 4.347) = 20.653%
-----------------------------
To further clarify: If the gross revenue of one of the stated clubs is $1,000,000 and the net margin is 25% with Roix getting 10%, he would be compensated $25,000. He said he thought it was clearly stated.

BTW, it is yet to be seen if there will be a similar compensation tied to the health club or the additional projects and ideas on the drawing board.
