Jc, well, shows you what I know. In my (rather feeble) defense, I tried searching the Intel site. But every reference I found was just to the clockrate. I guess they felt that was the most important....

It's actually noteworthy that Intel's Mobile PIII Data Sheet does NOT mention the change in voltage, just the change in operating frequency.

JC, I dare say that with 25.9 to 27.5 watts of power dissipation at 800-850 MHz, that there must be a 10,000 RPM fan in those Intel notebooks which gets enabled in the full speed mode.
