tejek... Of course if the government wasn't paying for the office space, Mark Rich would be... don't you think?

RE:"I disagree.....if we can waste thousands on military toilet seats and no one objects, then we can honor a person who has served as president with the best for what's called for in his contract. Being president of this country ain't no walk in the park.
So as much as I don't like some of them, I would not short change them."

Latest estimates are that the penhouse above Carnegie hall that Clint wants the taxpayers to rent is up to $750,000 a year...
Congress is going to take a look see...and I'm glad...

1. Clinton will get between $100-$125k for a speech in Boca Raton for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter...
Estimated CLinton can make $2M this year on speeches alone.
I have no problem with that...
2. Clintons gotten 180k in gifts...(GHW Bush got 53k in gifts when he left...) Still no problem with that unless there were favors like pardons involved.
3. Big problems with lavish digs at taxpayer expense.
4. I hope you can see the difference.

Read somewhere the following conclusion...
"Dems want people to stop picking on Clinton"
"They will when the Clintons stop picking our pockets"...
