There is more to be seen in a daily chart than in any other timeframe, I believe. For instance, the Daily Period contains a record of the efforts of the larger Powers That Be to open and close the markets at points that reflect their own interest. The Open, Close, High, and Low of, say, a seven-minute period in the middle of the day, signify the pressures of forces far less influential than those which delimit the Daily Period.

In other words, there are certain recurring rhythms which may be read in one timeframe and not another. I know this sounds too abstract for many readers, and I appreciate the value of realizing that many principles of TA make themselves evident across numerous timeframes, but serious students of TA will want to examine the above-quoted assertion very carefully.
