Bruce; All the companies that you mentioned, died or are in the due process because of the ghastly failure of the hardware side of their enterprises. As far as software is concerned and lacking the empirical evidence to support my argument, I think that age is everything in Silicon Valley. The sector performance today could be another nail in Hawkins' coffin. Just look at THQ and Activision! We've even got Acclaim breathing down our necks. Seymour Cray, like a punch-drunk boxer, didn't know when to quit. My gut tells me Trip is making the same mistake.
