There was no question of finding a discriminated against class, and ample precedent was cited about review of equity considerations in voting cases by the federal bench. Any serious allegations on that score must be heard. By that time, there was a clear scheme promulgated by the Florida Supreme Court to rule on, and it was found deficient. I do not see anything out of character there, since the thrust of the Florida ruling was not, in fact, state law, but equity. Well, we shall see how the arguments develop, as you say.
