Thanks for your input. Agree this is a step in right direction but as you are aware the counter-claim action that IFX dropped IS NOT the test of RMBS patents over SDRAM & DDR. I think that MU, IFX & Hyundai will eventually settle with RMBS but with all the various court cases pending there is a quite a way to go. Court cases seem to always drag on for extended periods but eventually this will end and then RMBS will likely move more aggressively against the logic controller type firms.

Right now with the DRAM market prices so weak it appears that those making RDRAM are doing well by selling RDRAM at fat prices. Pressure on Hyundai, IFX and MU to gear up RDRAM must be great. With the lawsuits pending there is likely resistance by box firms to buy RDRAM from either of the "bad" three.
