The military already has enough satellite communications to wage war in the desert - we did it ten years ago. And every sailor in the fleet can send E-mail home from anywhere in the world now, thanks to satellites.

If there was any thought of Uncle Sam buying GSTRF some Congressmen would be talking up the idea to get funding, or Secretary Rumsfeld would have mentioned it as part of his agenda.

Absent that, it's wishful thinking.
