Yes, your "Zero" point is exactly right...it is the puzzle..!
Is there a way to measure the strength or "the amount of directional move?"

Pitchforks present the same type of propulsive moves as your swing charts. Maybe not in the same place...<smile> but in a similar manner. They also fail in a similar manner.

The great puzzle has been to find something that could gauge that move, whatever you come up with would be very useful and a lot of FUN...!
