Might well have just been luck, but this chart shows what I look for and how I dodged a bullet by selling INCY yesterday: askresearch.com Notice how the stochastics had reached the overbought area, and the indicator line was turning down over the other line? Plus, another sign was the MACD indicator which had the red bars starting to leave a white space between them and the green line. That plus the analyst yesterday giving a big raspberry to the genomics stocks motivated me to get out. Good chance that he's dead wrong about the stocks being overvalued (I certainly don't know one way or another) , but I figured that his comments could change psychology for a while and that there might be a lag between his warning and trading based on it. Guessed right for a change!
