It might not have any reality for you, just as your position has no reality for me. My "haves" or "have nots" are totally internal. They are not a fact for you (imo). You can choose to accept them- but you have no way to verify them. It has nothing to do with treating me as an object (although I think I am one)- and I don't see the relevance of throwing that in. But people certainly are objects (imo- and under the definition- unless you think people are immaterial) and I treat them as such under definitions 1 and 2.

ob·ject (bjkt, -jkt)

1.Something perceptible by one or more of the senses, especially by vision or touch; a material thing.
2.A focus of attention, feeling, thought, or action: an object of contempt.
3.The purpose, aim, or goal of a specific action or effort: the object of the game.
4.Grammar.
a.A noun, pronoun, or noun phrase that receives or is affected by the action of a verb within a sentence.
b.A noun or substantive governed by a preposition.
5.Philosophy. Something intelligible or perceptible by the mind.
6.Computer Science. A discrete item that can be selected and manipulated, often a self-contained item that contains data and the procedures
necessary to manipulate that data.

We do not agree on the meanings of most words- that is a problem here, and elsewhere in life.
