RE:I think the nomination of Ashcroft was a slap in the face to black Americans. I disagree. Ashcroft has been a victim of one of the dirtiest character assassination campaigns I have ever seen. RE:Now, I hear the Bush administration refuses to help California and the west with our severe energy problems. Californians caused their own problems, why should the rest of the country suffer because of their misguided policies. They need to fix their own problems, IMHO.
