ST....have read your thoughts on that....a "gift" is a "gift" and NOT TO BE PAID BACK. The Reagans paid the loan back.

I totally meant a GIFT to Clinton. Free. Nada dollars. Then the taxpayers wouldn't have to pay at all.

But, as I said, even more importantly, how much EXTRA is it going to cost for all the Secret Service, office staff, travel, etc etc.....

What is the budget here???

swissy, The 2.5 million dollar mansion was not paid for by government money, better described as the money from the taxpayers. It was a loan from individual supporters, and it was paid back in full. Until Clinton pays his share, instead of screwing the tax payers, you should forgo any sort of comment. Especially, when it is obvious you do not have any facts at your disposal. Don't hold your breath waiting for Clinton to pay it back, as you say you are
SURE he will do. Delete that!! Please DO hold your breath. ~H~
