Kemo Sabe: Yep, but anybody waiting for the gap to be filled before going long need not wait any longer. It just got 12 pts away from closing the gap. Gap closure should be good for a pop of about 100 pts, more or less.

What Index are you talking about and what are you using to come up with a 100 point pop?

What happens if we go right thru the gap (NDX 2470/Compx 2630)...we could gap down Monday and never look back..

Not trying to be a pessimist, but why buy here? There will be pressure on those who made a killing in January to sell and lock in gains....void of good news, worry over Cisco earnings (until they report Tuesday afternoon)...Dunno, maybe we turn Sept. downtrend line into support on this move..
