el paradisio: Per the chart I posted earlier this week, the VGY broke to the norm, which was below the support line of its rising wedge based from the Dec 00 low.

LG

El: CSCO has already given us an implicit warning.. On Tuesday that will be made explicit. CSCO is facing a slew of problems.

a: Main Telco's & Bells have slowed down capital expenditure due to reduced cash flow.

b: A number of NSP's are near Chapter 11 and are least concerned about upgrading.etc.

c: Junipers OC-192 routers are selling well and will make competition harder.

d: The purchase Brokers of the service Companies are demanding lower prices and are using the threat of holding out longer.

e:The situation in Europe is far worse ( BT and DT are good examples)

The market now needs some fuel to maintain orbit. I doubt CSCO will be able to make an upbeat forecast for the rest of the year . If so, the market will trim its numbers down and drift towards the valuations of 99.
