Living in Oregon, I think you should be careful what you wish for. You could have a few Californians there in a hurry, doing wonders to the quality of life there.

By the way, Craig Barrett once commented that he was one of only two Republicans in Intel Santa Clara, and the other wasn't Andy Grove. ;-)
