"IMO, this sell off will continue until the NAZ gap is filled (NAZ 2618.55)"

Bingo. We fill the gap shortly, IMO.

Your rant was not useless...made alot of sense. It's almost too funny watching the analysts go from bullish to bearish and back and forth overnight......things don't change that drastically. It is a defanate game of manipulation.

Anyway, I for one, will try and buy some dips, take small profits and run, while at the same time, build a better core long term hold basket.....

I am 36 years old....health issues aside.....assuming I live to be 46, I would venture to say naz will be 6000 or higher...some think much higher, I am just trying to be realistic. During this time, the houses and mm's will play their games....I intend to play right along with them, while aquiring quality and value for the future.

Keith....hoping he knows the rules to this game <ggg>

Ö¿ÖFster-

well... if one knows what greed does to MMs and HOUSES, they can read these moves in realtime or in advance as the opportunities arise. a coolheaded investor with faith in his knowledge would be able to make money on this information. no?

somehow, i think it's more complicated than this... or simpler.

BWDIK?

i know that in the treasure of the sierra madre the bad guys said, "BADGES? WE DON'T GOT TO SHOW YOU NO STINKING BADGES!" whereas, in blazing saddles they said, "BADGES? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING BADGES!"

OK Big Guy..... glad u feel better now. Good post. Analysts, gee, almost like the TA gurus. All over the radar screen. One says we go up, one says we go down, one says that was good news, one says it was bad, then the TA folks square root the market to the point they actually come full circle!

That's why I usually don't give them the time of day and just do my own thing.

Going to be a long quarter. Trading range from here to 3000. Traders market. Good trader can get rich playing this volatility.

LTBH, add little here, little there on dips of the quality techs. Plenty of time for entries to accumulate.

What u been doing? U've been too quiet. All ok?

Morning Tim,

RE: WARNING!!! Useless, speculative drivel, with assorted ranting & raving to follow :-|

In other words, just another one of your typical posts, right?<VBG>

Sorry Tim, but I could not resist. I fought it hard but succumbed to the dark side in the end. Have a great weekend.

Later,
Joel

Hi Tim again,

For one of your typical rants<g>, this one was pretty damn good. I agree with everything you say except for the March turnaround. I do think we will pop up a bit but then will begin the usual slide back as we approach the summer. I will look for some bargains and maybe a speculative play or two but plan on being out of the market by mid to late April. Unless we get a lot more rate cuts from AG. Then I may let it ride a bit longer. The first sign of a reverse, though and I am OUT!.

Later,
Joel
