out of curiousity (i am canadian), i thought an IRA was a retirement plan. in canadian rrsp's (reg. retirement savings plan), i cannot hold long calls or puts...i can sell calls on stocks and cover them but can't have open positions...

you can put ira money ? wow.

M, I didn't exactly blow the Jan rally, but my returns were of the "kiss your sister" variety. The part of me that decides what is going to happen is very mad at the part of me who decides how to play it. <g> However, there have been many, many times when I was totally wrong about what was going to happen and my picks made a ton of money anyway, so I can't gripe about this one runt of the litter profit.
