If K equals X and J but not S, how can J equal S?

Well that's easy, you forgot to carry the 2.

I suspect that assumptions are incorrect.
If K equals X, then K does not equal J

And I also agree with what you said about not killing so you won't be killed.

It isn't really "so that I won't be killed"...I am basing my behavior toward others on the only reference point that I know to be true. And that is my needs/wants/desires.

I know that I don't like to have my things stolen, so I assume that others also don't like to have things stolen from you. Therefore, I don't steal.

This is what I meant by "pro-choice" being a much bigger issue than just abortion to me. If a person says that they are "pro-choice", I expect that person to apply the same principles that they used to arrive at that conclusion to others. If they do not, then they are using situational ethics, which I have no respect for. That is, they are saying "I expect to be treated this way, but don't expect me to offer you the same treatment". This is where the social contract falls apart and where most of my disagreements on this thread have occured.
