I have no idea whose fault it is. Let's just say this... When I'm buying or selling LEAPs and the price is 'up there' I have no problems. It's only when the price of the stock is getting really, really low that I can't get a hit. I've called DLJ about the problem and they say it's out of their hands because it's at the market makers descretion. If the market maker thinks they are going to lose money on the trade then they won't do it. Maybe next time if the option gets really, really low I will try a very small market LEAP order and see if they do it 'legit' (i.e. at the ask) or not.
