It pays thus that the group did not note a deceleration of the commands of its customers except for the mobile telephones and the market of the companies. In parallel, it raises that the principal American customers of Alcatel (the operators télécoms SBC, BellSouth and Verizon) should maintain a growth of their investments into 2001. Lastly, it stresses that the requirement in bandwidth remains enormous in Europe and that the delay in this field compared to the United States should feed the growth of the group. On the whole, it maintains its recommendation of purchase of the value with a new objective of course of 85 euros (potential of 34%).
