If Cisco loses market share to...competitors...optical networks...why is that bad for JDSU, SDLI? Change of leadership doesn't mean the profitability is gone from the industry, no? (i.e. if my donut shop can't keep up with the new Starbucks and yuppie Bagel Place next door, actually more money is being spent elsewhere, just not in my store)

ZO, Re my not being around, which explanation would you like? - I was on vacation? - I was on the john? - I was working? - I had a long date with Jennifer Aniston? or - I ignored this board for a while because it's loaded with TOUTS who bash anyone with a different opinion and only want to hear about how JDSU's the greatest stock in the world. Well it is a great company but its stock is hurting. Last time I was here I said I was concerned that JDSU would be affected by problems with their customers. Guess what, they just acknowledged that they are seeing some problems with demand. You just don't like the message. Besides, I thought you guys were complaining about others posting the same thing over and over. Well, like you, my position on JDSU hasn't changed. The difference is I just don't need to see my handle in print 47 times a day (right TA??).
